When word came around that the chrome ball incident was going to do a post to celebrate the life of our fallen brother Van Wastell on his birthday, it was only right that the crew he grew up with skating banded together to tell never before heard tales about Van and his come up in skateboarding. On Friday Roughneck Hardware, Paradise Wheels, Lowcard Magazine, Dirty Pigeon Clothing, Mission Skateboards, and the San Francisco Bay Guardian present the highest high hippy jump contest @ Mission Skateboards which will start at 2:00pm , then at El Rio the stoned souls picnic will start @ 3:00pm. Then later that night @ 7pm Dirty Pigeons will have its open house showcase. Come through if your in the city or are in the general bay area for a day of good times!
